"Our" Sausage
Luiset sausage: our sausage consist only of pork meat cuts such as selected belly, shoulder (so different from the Bra sausage that consist of a mixture of bovine meat cuts mixed with pork underbelly). Added to the meat is a mix of spices such as Ceylon cinnamon, cloves, coriander, nutmeg, mace, and natural flavourings. The mixture obtained is packed in natural lamb gut.
The product is sold fresh and can be stored for a period of 5 days at the most in a cold store at 0-4°C. It is usually eaten raw.
